Out in the neighborhood

This is what showing up looks like.

Marches and postcard nights, Pride tents and skating rinks. Midtown Democrats is neighbors doing something about it — together, and usually with a decent amount of fun.

Club members standing together on a lawn holding hand-made pro-democracy protest signs.
A young child in a paper crown holds a hand-lettered sign reading "Empathy is Power".
Two volunteers in Free Mom Hugs shirts smiling at the club's tent at a community Pride event.
Two marchers with signs, one wearing a banana costume, holding a "Bananas 4 Democracy" placard.
Three members in campaign T-shirts on roller skates at a club social at the skating rink.

What we do

Old-fashioned neighborliness, well organized.

Midtown has always had heart and opinions. Now it has a Democratic club to match — a place to understand what's on the ballot, meet the people running, and turn good intentions into organized action.

01

Learn together

Monthly meetings with elected officials, candidates, and community leaders — so you always know what's happening in Memphis, Shelby County, and Nashville.

02

Organize Midtown

Voter registration, neighborhood outreach, and campaign support — practical work that turns Midtown's blue heart into blue results.

03

Show up for neighbors

Partnering with local organizations on service projects and community events, because Democratic values start with taking care of each other.

Meetings

Pull up a chair.

We meet monthly, and every meeting is open to everyone — longtime members, brand-new neighbors, and the Democrat-curious alike. No dues at the door, no litmus test. Just Midtowners talking about what matters.
