Get involved
Pick your lane.
Ten minutes a month or ten hours a week — we have a job sized for every schedule. Here's where to start.
Membership
Become a member.
Clubs run on rosters. When we tell a candidate "Midtown Democrats would like a word," the size of that roster is the size of our voice. Adding your name is the single easiest way to make the club stronger.
- Meeting invitations and the club email list
- A vote in how the club takes shape
- First call for volunteer opportunities and events
- A standing invitation to every meeting and event
Send us your name and neighborhood, and you're in motion. We'll reply with a welcome and the next meeting's details.
Meetings are always free and open — membership just makes it official.
Volunteer
Whatever your superpower, we'll use it.
Tell us what you're good at — or what you'd like to get good at — and we'll match you with work that matters.
Voter registration
Help neighbors get registered and ready before deadlines — tabling at Midtown events, farmers markets, and campuses.
Canvassing & phones
Knock doors, make calls, and write postcards for Democratic candidates who need Midtown's energy behind them.
Digital & comms
Social media, photography, writing, this very website — help the club sound as good as it is.
Events & hospitality
Greet first-timers, set up meeting spaces, plan socials — build the room people want to come back to.
Community service
Donation drives and service projects with local partner organizations — values in action between elections.
Speakers & programs
Help us book officials, candidates, and community leaders worth an hour of Midtown's evening.
Candidates & organizations
Have something Midtown should hear?
We host elected officials, candidates, and leaders of nonprofits and community organizations at our monthly meetings. If your work touches Midtown, we'd love to give you the floor.
